Mr. Partha Sharathi Ray

Mr Partha Sharathi Ray is a distinguished Advocate of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh with more than 16 years of legal experience. Renowned for his strategic advocacy, in depth legal research, and client focused approach, he has successfully handled over 3100 cases involving constitutional, corporate, commercial, and civil matters.

Throughout his career, Mr Ray has built a strong reputation for representing individuals, corporations, and institutions before the highest courts of Bangladesh. His practice combines courtroom excellence with practical legal solutions, enabling clients to navigate complex legal and commercial challenges with confidence.

Mr Ray possesses extensive expertise in Writ Jurisdiction, Constitutional Law, Corporate  Commercial Law, Company Law, Admiralty Law and Civil Litigation, Arbitration and Mediation, and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR). He is particularly recognised for promoting modern restorative justice principles and advancing innovative approaches to dispute resolution in Bangladesh.

His international perspective has been shaped through advanced legal education, specialised professional training, and participation in legal conferences and seminars across the United Kingdom, China, Japan, the United States, Thailand, Dubai, Turkey, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Portugal and numerous other countries. These experiences allow him to integrate international legal standards and best practices into his domestic legal practice.

Mr Ray is an active member of respected international legal organisations, including the Commonwealth Lawyers Association and the European Attorneys’ Association. He also contributes legal analysis and professional commentary to Wolters Kluwer International (Netherlands), reflecting his commitment to legal scholarship and the development of modern legal practice.

Academically, Mr Ray holds LL.B. and LL.M(UK). MSS in Victimology and Restorative Justice from the University of Dhaka and an MBA in Marketing from the University of Lucknow, India. He has also completed specialised professional training in Cyber Security, Advanced Forensic Investigation, and Arbitration and Mediation in both China and the United Kingdom.
